Should I take this class?
Prerequisite: Have you completed the 9-week beginner Lindy Hop lesson series? You will love this class if you enjoy learning new ways to add variation to your swing dancing, if you like to challenge yourself, and if you’re looking for another way to move your feet. Tap dancing shares some historical background with Lindy Hop and lends itself well to being added to your dancing.
What will I get out of this class?
By taking this class, you’ll add to your repertoire for solo jazz routines, expression in partnered dancing, and movement in open play – opportunities during partnerships where the fluidity of the dance allows you to add your own flourish.

Come to Akimbo Studio for these lessons – the stairs are around the left side of the building. Please bring a water bottle and clean, non-marking shoes, or dance in your socks if you prefer.
